"I'm thinking about Jesus."
These are the words spoken by sweet Miss Maddie Mae today - one of the kids I nanny. Mid tea party she decided to lay her head down on the table as if she was going to sleep. Jokingly, I said, "Are you taking a nap?" "No," she said. I kept going. "Are you being silly?" "No." "Are you closing your eyes?" Again, the reply was, "No." Her responses were muffled because she'd stayed face down during this questioning. Finally, I said, "What are you doing, Miss Maddie?" to which she softly replied, "I'm thinking about Jesus."
Big lessons from little teachers.
