Blah, blah, blah

Not much to say tonight, just feel like I'm a blogging slacker these days.
Let's start with an update . . . I'm working full time as a nanny, but looking for other alternatives. The job I have has been a blessing in more ways than one, but it is time to move forward. I am looking into working for a university. It seems the perfect thing for me - weekends and holidays off, lots of vacation time, insurance, AND tuition remission!!! I really could be an eternal student. HEAVEN! We'll see how it goes. I'm still recording demos and such, but that work is sparatic . . . and unpaid. Still, I really love being at the sound board in the studio. We call it "driving the bus". Who knows where my music industry education will lead me. Well, time will tell.
I'm truly, deep down happy, and am enjoying life with all it's ups and downs, twists and turns, make ya want to throw up sometimes, roller coaster splendor. I am aware of the blessings in my life and feel undeserving, but full gratitude for them. I miss my family and friends from home and sometimes find myself wishing that I could somehow get all the people I love to live in one place. If anyone out there in blogland has accomplished this feat, I'd love to know your secret.
Well, that's about it for me. I'm now falling asleep on my laptop. Must shut eyes. G'night friends.
